Handball is considered the most popular sport in Himi, with elite schools scouting for talented players. Hinezumi High School is the lone public school, but they have earned a reputation by participating in the inter-high tournament four years ago. To reclaim their former glory, they have enforced a height policy, restricting shorter players from joining as strength typically correlates with height. The objective is to avoid weaker players who would be overpowered by opponents.
Despite the regulations, Shiguma Eito, a small first-year student from Tokyo, is resolute about pursuing his passion for handball and joining the team.
