Youko Moji, at the young age of 18, is plagued by feelings of inadequacy and loneliness. With no hope for the future, she decides to take her own life. But just as she is about to jump, a pair of strong arms pull her back. Her savior is none other than Kagami Kirihara, a strikingly handsome man who offers her an unusual proposition – a contract marriage. The only condition is that Youko undergoes cosmetic surgery to meet Kagami’s standards of beauty.
Eager to escape her miserable existence, Youko agrees to Kagami’s proposal. In just six months, she finds herself happily married.
