Stella finds herself in the company of Levi-Ruin and some enigmatic men who have a sparsely furnished kitchen and a groaning crate in their storehouse. Upon encountering the realistic sculptures belonging to Gilbert, a resident of the mansion, the novice domestic servant confronts an ominous truth.
